(Murray) Designed by Thomson & Wolveridge the Murray course is one of the most popular in the Murray River region and with very good reason. This is a beautiful piece of golfing heaven, with the course carved out of a majestic redgum forrest and meandering around countless little creeks and pools. The beauty of the setting is matched by the difficulty of the golfing challenge. Most holes require decent length off the tee and accuracy, and the club ensures it’s greens are extremely well-maintained on the number one course. The greens arent always the quickest that you will find but are undulating and often large enough to give up many three putts if you arent careful. Favourite hole would be the very pictueresque 470m, par 5 ninth.
