Designed by Craig Parry and Ross Watson and only recently opened Kooindah Waters is divided into three distinct character precincts, where your shot making accuracy, ball placement and imagination will be the keys to scoring well. Kooindah is built on a natural wetland that come into play on almost every hole. With some of the fairways cambering towards the wetlands, there’s often little to save an errant shot from a watery end but that’s something that will doubtless change as the course becomes more established. Sleeper retaining walls and bunkering are used to provide a “rustic” feel with the feature hole being the island green on the par 3, 17th hole.
