Bribie Island is one of the sand islands of Moreton Bay and its natural sand base provides a wonderful base for lush fairways as well as ideal drainage should it rain. With its seaside location and bushland setting the course offers all the playing advantages of a sand-belt course. The fairways are undulating, following the contours of ancient sand dunes and is an easy walking course with plenty of challenges offered by the bunkers and sandy lies off the fairways.
