Number 38 – Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr in 1988.) The Hyatt Regency Coolum represents one of Trent Jones his most subtle designs. Unlike other Trent Jones courses you won’t find any of the huge undulation or the trademark double and triple tiered greens. The course is a subtle challenge rather than an intimidating brute. The designer himself described the course at Coolum in a similar vein saying ‘This course is not designed to punish champions, just to find out who they are.’

The course is complemented with an extensive range of practice facilities including; the Golf Improvement Centre, a chipping green that offers a wide variety of shot making practice with an adjoining practice bunker, a putting green and a 270 metre all-weather floodlit driving range.
