Number 5 – Designed by Tom Doak and Michael Clayton (2004). Barnougle Dunes is set right up against the Bass Strait and has been designed to be a similar setting to one that you might find on a Scotland or Ireland golf course. Exposed, windswept with natural dunes and is currently also Australia’s highest ranked public course.
There are plans to develop another course adjacent Barnbougle Dunes on even better topography. (Barnougle Dunes was ranked the 57th best Golf Course in the World outside the USA by Golf Digest magazine in 2007 and recently ranked 7th best Public Access course in the world))
